Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and become a vital part of life-saving procedures within the catheterization laboratory (cath lab). In this role, you will utilize your expertise to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring precise patient care and safety. Your energetic approach will help drive excellence in a fast-paced environment, supporting advanced peripheal vascularprocedure at MVP Endovascular Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your specialized skills to improve patient outcomes every day. Duties Assist cardiologists during peripheral vascular, angiograms, and interventions invasive procedures within the cath lab. Prepare and operate specialized equipment for diagnostic evaluation and interventional procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient physiology throughout procedures, responding swiftly to any abnormalities. Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during all invasive activities. Conduct thorough assessments of anatomy and physiology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Document procedural details meticulously, including medical terminology, findings, and patient responses for accurate medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine settings and trauma centers to provide rapid response during critical situations. Skills Extensive knowledge of interventional radiology techniques used in peripheral vascular procedures. Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures and interpretation of diagnostic imaging results. Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring systems for continuous patient assessment. Solid grasp of physiology principles relevant to cardiovascular health and emergency scenarios. Familiarity with medical terminology used in invasive cardiology and diagnostic evaluations. Ability to perform sonography as needed for vascular access or diagnostic purposes. Knowledge of anatomy related to the cardiovascular system to support procedural accuracy. Competence in vital signs assessment, aseptic techniques, and maintaining sterile fields during invasive procedures.
