Our care team works with you to help prevent heart attack or stroke, and manage high blood pressure, high cholesterol and irregular heartbeats. We specialize in caring for many heart conditions, including AFib, congestive heart failure, structural heart and valve care, peripheral artery disease, and coronary artery blockages. 25195 Kelly Rd Suite A Roseville, MI 48066 Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices. This position will focus on a part time vascular ultrasound tech. Desired person will be a team player that goes above and beyond for the practice. Good communication. Able to perform all vascular testing for cardiology and desire a tech that can do venous ablations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or eligible candidate to sit for an ARDMS examination. The ARDMS defines 'candidate' as an applicant who has met the prerequisites required to sit for an ARDMS examination. If eligible candidate, successful completion of SPI, Abdomen, and
OB/GYN ARDMS
examinations required within 12 months of date of hire. Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Ultrasound Technologist position. Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
