Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a specialized healthcare environment where your expertise as a CVOR Tech will be highly valued. This contract position involves a range of technical responsibilities that directly support the preparation and care of patients before cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or in a similar surgical technology role Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization procedures Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams in a fast-paced CVOR setting Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
Schedule/Hours:
Specific hours and shift details will be provided during the interview process, based on facility needs
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available Assist surgical teams during operations, passing instruments and anticipating the needs of the surgical staff Maintain an organized, safe environment in the CVOR Perform instrument counts and verify supplies before and after procedures Provide care and support to pre-operative patients as directed Ensure the proper care, cleaning, and storage of CVOR instruments and equipment This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a state-of-the-art surgical setting, working alongside expert healthcare professionals.
