Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise as a Cath Lab Tech within medical imaging Proficient knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and related imaging technology Certification/licensure as required by state and federal guidelines Advanced understanding of sterile technique, radiation safety, and patient monitoring Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communicator with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting highly advantageous
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians during invasive and diagnostic procedures, ensuring optimal imaging support Monitor and record patient vital signs and responses throughout procedures Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols Manage and document imaging records accurately to ensure regulatory compliance Support post-procedural care as needed, providing guidance to patients and families Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary personnel for seamless workflow
