Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your expertise as a Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic hospital environment dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging technology and collaborate with a highly skilled interventional cardiology team.
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent credentials in imaging Proven experience in a hospital-based cath lab setting Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols Proficient in operating cath lab and imaging equipment Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergent situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Responsibilities:
Assist cardiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Operate specialized imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring adherence to proper protocols for safety and quality assurance Monitor patients' vitals and procedural data throughout the exam Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records Collaborate with nursing and other technical staff to ensure smooth procedural workflow Adhere to all regulatory, infection control, and quality standards
