Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity awaits professionals skilled in imaging and cardiac catheterization technology. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality care within a dynamic Cath Lab environment, where your expertise makes a real difference in patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Cath Lab Technologist, with documented experience in a hospital or clinical catheterization laboratory Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment and Cath Lab procedures Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and relevant procedures Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging and interventional equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures Assist physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and patient safety protocols Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures, responding quickly to any urgent changes Maintain accurate procedure documentation and assist with post-procedural patient care instructions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes Participate in quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance within the
