What you can expect as a Cardiac Device Specialist at St.
Luke's Heart Rhythm Center:
The St Luke's Heart Rhythm Center is a unique clinic that manages the monitoring, interrogation, and reprogramming of cardiac devices implanted in patients. The cardiac implanted devices include pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders. Our team cares for over 5000 patients through remote monitoring as well as in-person visits. Utilize cardiac training to assist in the monitoring, interrogation, and management of device data & transmissions Collaborate with device RN's, advanced practitioners, device reps, and electrophysiologists to bring the highest care to our patients. Assist with triaging device alerts, as well as identifying potential malfunctions or sub optimal device operation. Assist with clinic operations and direct patient care tasks Participate in telephone communication with patients regarding monitor findings or provided recommendations when appropriate. A typical schedule includes 4(four) 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday (No Holidays). Opportunities for future certification and/or career progression.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates degree + 1-year additional of experience or HSD + 2 additional years of experience
Experience:
1-year healthcare related experience
Licenses/Certifications:
