Cardiac Stress Technician

POSITION

Cardiac Stress Technician (LPN or EMT/Paramedic a plus!)

SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Cardiovascular Stress Technician (preferably LPN or EMT/Paramedic, but not required) to assist a Nuclear Medicine Technician in performing a full range of cardiovascular stress testing for our Mobile Cardiac Imaging Division. You would be part of a team to cover select local physician offices in the North Mississippi area. The Cardiac Stress Tech will be responsible for performing cardiac stress tests on patients for diagnostic and nuclear stress testing purposes, under the direction of the CNMT team member and the clinic physician. Some local travel required.

REQUIREMENTS

LPN, EMT, or MA Certification a plus! BLS Certification EKG interpretation IV administration Valid Driver's License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Local travel required with the use of a high-rise van (provided by ADT) Ability to push mobile camera with the assistance of a team member Carry weight up to 30 lbs May require strenuous physical effort while assisting patients on and off stress equipment (the CNMT will always accompany the Stress Tech to assist with all procedures)
