1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma, short-term acute care teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required. Details Short-term acute care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 staffed beds Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer unit with a 1:1 patient ratio Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Weekends required on an as-needed basis On-call required on an as-needed basis Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Epic EMR — experience required No-fee parking available on site Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer experience required Epic EMR proficiency required Active professional license required if applicable Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration All required certifications must be current and included for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates, as part of their profile Scrubs are provided in sterile units such as OR, ICU, ER, and COVID units; all other staff may wear any color scrubs Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
