Job Description
Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Take on a valuable role as a Cath Lab Tech, specializing in diagnostic and interventional imaging within a dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise will directly impact patient care by supporting cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Imaging specialist ready to excel on a collaborative team.
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week Typical shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM On-call required: two weekends per month, plus one to two call nights weekly (specifics discussed in interview) Weekend rotation: two weekends a monthHoliday:
One holiday may be required per contract (as applicable)Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Cath Lab Technologist with proven experience in a similar setting Demonstrated skills in cardiovascular imaging and assisting with catheterization procedures Strong working knowledge of imaging technology and patient safety protocols Current certifications as required by regulatory boards (such as ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent) Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and teamwork qualities Ability to effectively manage a high-stakes, fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities:
Set up and operate imaging equipment for all cath lab procedures Ensure accurate patient preparation, instruction, and monitoring throughout procedures Collaborate with physicians and the cath lab team to deliver safe and effective care Strictly adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality control standards Assist with patient recovery and documentation post-procedure Respond efficiently to call-backs and support urgent/emergent cases as scheduled Enjoy making a meaningful contribution while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals.
