1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS or AE certification and experience in TEE, Stress Echo, and 3D strain imaging for a 13-week travel assignment. Details Acute care hospital echo/cardiology unit 5x8 day shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotation starts 4x10 schedules cannot be accommodated Rotating weekends, approximately 1 in every 4 May be asked to float to other facilities within the health system as needed Epic EMR experience required Requirements ARDMS RDCS or AE certification required Current BLS required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required Experience with GE and/or Philips echo equipment required Proficiency in TEE, Stress Echo, and Endoscopic TEE required Experience with 3D strain and image enhancing techniques required Epic EMR experience is mandatory Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Perform echocardiographic studies including TEE, Stress Echo, and Endoscopic TEE procedures Candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
