Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Take the next step in your imaging career with an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Tech. This contract role is ideal for those with a background in advanced diagnostic imaging, specifically within catheterization laboratories. You'll be collaborating closely with a skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver critical support for both scheduled and emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the cath lab, ensuring optimal functionality and safety Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting Prepare and position patients for procedures, maintaining strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols Monitor patient vital signs and provide technical expertise throughout procedures Accurately document patient records, imaging data, and any procedural interventions Maintain a clean, organized work environment and manage inventory of necessary supplies
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with specialty in imaging for cardiovascular procedures Certification from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; RCIS certification preferred Valid ARRT or equivalent registry, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab protocols Ability to work well in high-pressure environments and communicate effectively with team members
