Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in patient care as an experienced Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled professional to deliver high-quality imaging support within a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab setting. You'll work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure optimal diagnostic procedures and patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent preferred) Demonstrated clinical experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with comprehensive knowledge of imaging protocols and cardiovascular procedures Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced cath lab imaging equipment Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for all procedures Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related diagnostic or interventional imaging Monitor patient status, providing relevant clinical data to physicians and responding deftly to emergent situations Accurately document procedures, patient responses, and supply usage per facility protocols Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including radiation safety standards Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures for optimal care experiences This contract position offers valuable opportunities to expand your clinical expertise, work with cutting-edge technology, and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a collaborative healthcare environment.
