Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging professional with expertise as a Cath Lab Tech. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in imaging procedures specific to the cardiac catheterization lab environment. The assignment is contract-based, ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic work setting with the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech in an imaging-focused role Certification in radiologic technology or related field (ARRT or equivalent preferred) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and safety protocols Proficiency with cath lab imaging equipment and diagnostic tools Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical team
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform imaging procedures aligned with physician instructions and department standards in the cath lab Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards Assist physicians with preparation and execution of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes or emergencies Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols at all times
