Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Experienced imaging professionals with a background in Cath Lab technology are invited to contribute their expertise to a specialized healthcare setting. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to deliver high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday 07:30 AM - 6:00 PM On-call responsibilities: Two weekends per month and 1-2 call nights per week, to be further discussed in the interview process Holiday coverage: One holiday per contract, if required
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech with comprehensive knowledge of imaging protocols, equipment operation, and patient safety standards Current certification and licensure as required by industry standards for Cath Lab Technologists Strong attention to detail and commitment to precise image acquisition and documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff Flexibility to adapt to call schedules, weekend rotations, and changing priorities Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to assist with cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols Perform and document studies, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic goals Maintain sterile fields and adhere to strict infection control procedures Troubleshoot equipment and collaborate closely with the cath lab team on case setup and workflow Respond promptly to on-call needs and emergent situations during scheduled times If you're seeking a dynamic environment where you can apply your technical skills and make a tangible impact in cardiac care, this opportunity offers professional growth and unique clinical experiences.
