Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role specializing in advanced cardiac care as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support patients through intricate cardiovascular procedures in an innovative and collaborative environment. Your expertise in cardiac imaging will be key in delivering exceptional patient outcomes alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
Full-time hours; specific shifts to be discussed during the interview process
Key Qualifications:
Certification or licensing as a Cath Lab Technologist, with relevant imaging credentials Proven hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting Strong knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting imaging and monitoring equipment Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail under pressure Effective communication skills for working closely with physicians, nurses, and patients Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment Provide accurate imaging to support the assessment and treatment of cardiovascular conditions Monitor the patient's status throughout each procedure, quickly alerting the care team to any changes Maintain a sterile field and adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection prevention guidelines Document treatments, scans, and patient responses diligently and follow up as needed Support with inventory, equipment checks, and restocking as part of lab maintenance
