Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Embrace an exciting opportunity in beautiful Salem, NH—where the energy of New England meets the tranquility of scenic landscapes and lively local culture. As a travel Cath Lab Tech, you'll immerse yourself in a region renowned for four-season adventures, historic charm, and easy access to both city attractions and outdoor escapes. This Cath Lab comprises three state-of-the-art labs, a dedicated inpatient holding area, and a comfortable radial lounge for outpatients. Collaborate with a dynamic team of skilled RNs, Techs, and support staff as you work with advanced technology such as OCT, IVUS, Impella, IABP, and more. This assignment offers an exceptional platform to expand your expertise via exposure to different clinical workflows, innovative equipment, and leadership styles, while networking with accomplished professionals in cardiac care.
Schedule:
7:00AM - 5:30PM with call requirements Self-scheduled on-call: one day per week and one weekend per month
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in complex procedures including left/right heart caths, angioplasties, atherectomy, valve replacements (TAVR, TMVR), drug studies, thrombectomies, and advanced device management (Impella, IABP). Operate a range of imaging and interventional equipment. Titrate drips independently for critical care patients. Provide skilled support for adult patient populations alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate efficient yet flexible work habits while contributing positively to the team dynamic. Accurately document procedures using Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab EMR systems.
Desired Experience & Certifications:
Critical care background in a similar setting Hands-on Impella and IABP experience ACLS certification and valid RN license required
