Your expertise will help provide accurate diagnoses and contribute to effective patient care within a fast-paced, state-of-the-art medical environment. Duties Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of the heart's structure and function, including Doppler studies for blood flow analysis. Monitor vital signs and patient physiology throughout imaging sessions, adjusting techniques as needed for optimal results. Collaborate with cardiologists and interventional radiology teams to facilitate diagnostic evaluations, including cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging results, patient information, and procedural notes in compliance with hospital policies. Assist in emergency situations within the cath lab or trauma center by providing rapid imaging support and ensuring patient safety during critical interventions. Familiarity with interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology techniques. Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and maintain aseptic technique during invasive procedures. Experience working in telemetry units or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients effectively. Certification as an Echocardiography Technician (such as RDCS or RCS) is required; additional certifications in interventional radiology or advanced cardiac life support are a plus. Join us to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through your technical expertise!
