1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience (2 preferred) for a 13-week assignment performing a full range of cardiac, electrophysiology, and neuro interventional procedures. Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing both cardiac and neuro interventional procedures Cardiac procedures include LHC diagnostic/intervention, RHC, pericardiocentesis, CardioMEMS, Impella and IABP insertion, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, AICD and PPM placement, EPS, ablation, and LAAC Neuro procedures include cerebral and carotid angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy Charting in Epic 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM On-call and every third weekend required Must be available to cover 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements Requirements Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS required Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable SSN and DOB required for consideration Two current professional references required for consideration First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Additional Information Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment All RTO and schedule requests should be noted upfront
