Key Qualifications:

Certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent discipline required ARRT, RCIS, or similar credential preferred Proven experience working in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting Comprehensive understanding of imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, and sterile techniques Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong communication skills, able to work well in both independent and team settings Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining accuracy

Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac cath lab procedures, ensuring quality images and patient safety Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper equipment functioning Adhere to all hospital protocols regarding radiation safety and infection control Document procedures and patient data accurately in electronic medical records Provide compassionate patient care and clear explanations of processes
