August•September 2026 Position Overview The Echocardiography Technician will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cardiac imaging services to Veteran patients across a variety of inpatient settings. This includes intensive care units, step-down units, spinal cord injury units, general medical floors, the emergency department, and procedural areas such as the cardiac catheterization lab. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive adult echocardiography procedures independently

Conduct:

Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) Stress Echocardiograms 3D Echocardiography Bubble Studies Ensure accurate image acquisition and preliminary assessment for physician interpretation Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols , including proper PPE usage and donning/doffing procedures Provide patient-centered care while working in fast-paced inpatient and emergency environments Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary care teams Qualifications Proven experience in adult echocardiography Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting Strong knowledge of infection control standards and patient safety practices Prior VA experience or familiarity with federal healthcare systems is a plus Join a team dedicated to serving those who have served our country while enjoying a stable schedule, competitive compensation, and a meaningful work environment.
