Job Description:
Clinical Cardiac Device Technician 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Onsite - Manhattan, NYC Schedule Monday - Friday 5 days onsite 35-hour work week Position Overview We are seeking a Clinical Cardiac Device Technician to join their Rhythm Center team as a backfill for an upcoming departure. This individual will support physicians and nurse practitioners in the management of patients with implanted cardiac devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop recorders. This is a 100% onsite role in Manhattan working alongside a team of 7 technicians, with the goal of returning the team to full capacity at 8 technicians. This is a highly specialized role requiring experience reviewing cardiac device transmissions and working within vendor monitoring platforms. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze transmissions f rom: Pacemakers Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs) Implantable Loop Recorders Holter/Event Monitors (prefer red) Monitor and manage vendor portals inclu ding: Medtronic Boston Scientific Biotronik Abbott Download and interpret remote monitoring transmissions Identify urgent alerts and escalate appropriately Prepare preliminary reports for physicians and clinical staff Support clinicians with device-related technology Interact directly with patients as part of device management Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Register patients in remote monitoring systems Schedule remote monitoring and clinic appointments Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiables) CRAT Certification (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) strongly preferred OR; Completion of recognized cardiac device programs: PrepMDCardiac Training Institute (CTI)Pacemaker/device training programs Baseline knowledge of: Pacemakers ICDsLoop recorders
