We are looking for an experienced and passionate Echo Tech Instructor to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As an Echo Tech Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating and training the next generation of cardiac sonographers. Your expertise in echocardiography and commitment to student success will help prepare students for rewarding careers in cardiovascular imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the echocardiography/cardiac sonography program, covering cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, and ultrasound imaging techniques. Provide hands-on training in echocardiographic scanning procedures, imaging protocols, and patient care techniques. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, professionalism, and success. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support to help students achieve their educational goals. Stay current with industry trends, advancements in cardiovascular ultrasound technology, and best practices to ensure curriculum relevance and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to maintain program quality, accreditation standards, and student clinical readiness.
Requirements:
Two (2) years of full-time practical occupational experience in the field of Diagnostic Medical Sonography B achelor's Required Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Certificate required Current ARDMS registration in specialty required; BPSS Teacher license preferred
