Benefits/Perks Career Advancement Opportunities Great Work Environment Competitive Compensation Job Summary We are seeking an Echocardiac Technologist to join our team! As an Echocardiac Technologist, you will be responsible for greeting new patients, explaining the procedure, and answering any questions they may have as to what they can expect. You will also perform the ultrasound itself, visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain relevant measurements, and occasionally assist the physician with particularly complex and demanding procedures. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cardiology, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and has the required licensure needed by the state. Responsibilities Answer patient questions, obtain relevant medical history, and explain the upcoming procedure Perform the cardiac ultrasound, recording accurate, relevant data Consult with colleges or physicians as needed to best interpret the data Assist other technologists or colleagues as needed Accurate record all findings Qualifications Required licensure needed for the state Previous experience in the medical field desired Strong communication skills Strong customer service skills Understanding of confidentiality and HIPPA requirements
