1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, open to first-time travelers. Details Work in a cardiac cath lab setting at an acute care hospital Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablader atherectomy, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant closure device and stent placement Adult patient population 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call requirements apply Epic EMR preferred Requirements Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required ARRT (R) required; ARRT preferred, but RCIS will be considered for candidates who do not hold both credentials Current ACLS and BLS required Proficiency in scrub procedures, sterile technique, sterile field maintenance, equipment setup, and room circulator duties Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias License required if applicable 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
