Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Ambulatory Device Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY. Responsibilities Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming. Support ambulatory cardiac device monitoring and management activities. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry. Collaborate with cardiology, electrophysiology, and clinical teams to support patient care. Educate patients and families regarding cardiac device monitoring and follow-up care. Assist with electrophysiological monitoring activities as needed. Ensure proper operation and utilization of cardiac device technology equipment. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient device status. Support workflow and operational needs across multiple departments. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience. Experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming. Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology (EP), cardiology, or MRI operations. Computer literacy required. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Preferred Qualifications Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience. Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology settings.
