As per facility needs Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a high-acuity Cath Lab environment. This role involves assisting physicians during interventional procedures, monitoring patient hemodynamics, operating specialized cardiovascular equipment, and ensuring accurate procedural documentation. The ideal candidate is experienced in fast-paced clinical settings and comfortable supporting both routine and emergency cardiac interventions. Key Responsibilities Monitor and record patient hemodynamic data, including blood pressure and intracardiac pressures Assist physicians with catheter placement and interpretation of cardiovascular data Document all procedural activities accurately within Cath Lab systems Operate diagnostic and monitoring equipment such as ACT machines, cardiac output systems, and A-VOX Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures using sterile techniques Set up, calibrate, and monitor intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) Support emergency procedures including defibrillation, pacing, suctioning, and CPR assistance Operate power injectors for contrast dye administration Maintain Cath Lab inventory, ensuring supplies and equipment readiness Perform basic equipment maintenance and report technical issues Assist with patient transport to critical care units (CCU, CSICU, OR) Support implementation of new technologies and clinical procedures Required Qualifications Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or cardiovascular procedural setting preferred Education High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate's degree or relevant clinical training (preferred) Certifications RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and hemodynamic monitoring Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments Proficiency in sterile techniques and emergency response protocols Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient care activities Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills Additional Information Hands-on role within a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab Requires adaptability to evolving technologies and procedural techniques Direct involvement in life-saving cardiovascular interventions For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
