Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment providing essential imaging services as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity emphasizes technical expertise, collaborative care, and precision in high-stakes settings that have a profound impact on patient outcomes.
Role Highlights:
Use advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures. Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for safety and cleanliness. Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients throughout invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Operate fluoroscopy and other diagnostic imaging tools to capture high-quality, diagnostic images. Accurately document all procedures, patient responses, and imaging data within electronic medical records. Communicate promptly with physicians and healthcare colleagues to support seamless patient care. Observe and respond rapidly to any changes in patient condition or imaging needs during procedures.
Desired Background:
Background as a Cath Lab Technician with proven skills in interventional radiology or cardiovascular imaging. Current, valid certification (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent) required. Familiarity with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
