1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with RDMS certification and a minimum of 2 years of sonography experience, including vascular and echo expertise. Details 13-week travel contract with 40 hours per week Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Rotating on-call shifts on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM General sonography setting with vascular and echocardiography cases Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer in a U.S. hospital setting Must be a general sonographer with vascular and echo experience RDMS certification required BLS certification required (AHA only) Graduate of an accredited sonographer program required Active license required, if applicable — no pending licenses accepted Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position New graduates will not be considered Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer U.S. SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction Operates sonographic equipment, records diagnostic images, and communicates results of examinations Responsible for patient safety protocols across a variety of imaging procedures Provides age-appropriate care for all patient populations served CPI certification is mandated for this position American Traveler Job ID #
