What you will be doing:
As an Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role throughout the procedural experience, supporting physicians and clinical teams during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Advanced Procedural Imaging Operate fluoroscopic and imaging systems during vascular, non-vascular, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Ensure optimal image quality and proper equipment settings throughout each case. Perform image post-processing and manage image transfer to PACS. Maintain strict radiation safety standards and ALARA principles. Scrub Technologist Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile fields for interventional procedures. Assist physicians with guidewires, catheters, sheaths, embolic materials, and specialized devices. Anticipate procedural needs and support efficient case flow. Demonstrate knowledge of vascular anatomy, catheter selection, and device deployment. Hemodynamic Monitoring Monitor and document procedural events, pressures, and hemodynamic data. Operate physiological monitoring equipment including ECG and oxygen saturation systems. Ensure accurate documentation of supplies, implants, medications, and contrast usage. Communicate critical findings and procedural updates to the care team in real time. Patient Care & Procedural Support Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring setup. Participate in patient identification, procedural verification, and timeout processes. Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to ensure safe patient care. Support vascular access management and sheath removal as needed. Help monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures. Department & Team Support Assist with room setup, turnover, and inventory management. Perform routine equipment inspections and readiness checks. Help maintain procedural efficiency and regulatory compliance. Support quality initiatives, radiation dose tracking, and equipment maintenance.
What you must have:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current Oregon State licensure (OBMI) ARRT Certification, RT(R) Current BLS certification ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) Minimum one year of Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab experience Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment and scrubbing interventional procedures Nice to have: Three or more years of Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience Experience in imaging, scrubbing, and monitoring roles
RCIS, NIH
Stroke Scale, or other specialty certifications Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or Medical Imaging Bilingual English/Spanish skills
