Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic clinical environment where precision, compassion, and teamwork make a critical difference. This is an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced professional ready to deliver exceptional care while supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Imaging or Radiologic Technology program Valid ARRT certification (or equivalent) State licensure as required by applicable regulations BLS certification (current) Minimum one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting, including proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and terminology Adaptability to varying case loads and ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication and collaborative skills to coordinate with clinical teams
Schedule/Hours:
Variable shifts based on facility needs Flexibility for occasional on-call hours
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment for Cath Lab procedures Assist physicians and nursing staff during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements, and related interventions Monitor patient safety and comfort, providing clear explanations of procedures Accurately document patient information and imaging results in accordance with facility protocols Ensure adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards Maintain inventory, prepare procedure trays, and support quality assurance efforts
