Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in surgical care by applying your expertise as a CVOR Tech. In this dynamic contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures and assisting surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications & Experience:
Certified in CVOR Technology or relevant surgical technology program Minimum of one year's experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital or surgical center setting Thorough understanding of sterile techniques and operating room protocols Proficient in the setup and operation of cardiovascular surgical equipment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for procedures Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular surgical procedures Monitor and manage surgical supplies and instruments throughout operations Follow strict aseptic and sterilization guidelines for all equipment and work areas Support post-surgical clean-up and organization for the next case Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to surgical instrumentation and operations
