40 hours/week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CVOR Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Greensburg, PA. The CVOR Tech will scrub independently for cardiovascular and general operating room procedures, supporting surgeons and OR staff in a high‑acuity hospital environment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent CVOR experience, with open heart experience preferred . Requirements Minimum 2+ years of recent CVOR Tech experience Open heart experience preferred Proficiency across multiple specialties including cardiovascular, vascular, orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, ENT, bariatrics, and thoracic procedures Ability to scrub independently and manage complex surgical cases Familiarity with hybrid OR settings and advanced instrumentation Certifications Current BLS certification (AHA required) Responsibilities Scrub independently for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile environments Handle and assemble surgical instruments and trays across multiple specialties Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to ensure safe patient care Apply sterile technique and infection control standards Document surgical processes accurately in EMR systems Support emergency management protocols including fire safety and malignant hyperthermia response Work Environment Cardiovascular OR, general OR, and hybrid OR settings Requires adaptability, independence, and ability to manage complex surgical cases Team‑oriented environment with interdisciplinary collaboration
