Assures proper procedures regarding telemetry monitoring are followed. Follows established policies and procedures for documenting and reporting patient information. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care and a safe environment. Job Description Articulates the job's main responsibilities. Minimizes risk of harm to patients and others by following established nursing practices and protocols and individual performance. Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making. Continuously and attentively monitors patients' cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, accurately interpreting and communicating baseline variations to Registered Nurse. Collects data and documents interpreted rhythms and significant events during shift. Completes required reporting. Maintains equipment and assists with application, return, and troubleshooting, escalating according to established procedures if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Required High School Diploma/GED Experience
- Preferred 1 year Previous telemetry and/or patient care experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required Cultural Awareness Knowledge of people with diverse backgrounds and the ability to convey respect and connect effectively. Health Information Documentation
- Knowledge of the relevance of health information and appropriate documentation methods, ability to record medical histories, symptoms, vital signs, medications, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, tests, and medical results in written or electronic form. (THNU0290) Patient Safety
