CARDIAC CATH TECHNOLOGIST-Temple University Hospital - Jeanes Campus- 7a-530pm (4 10 hour shifts weekly) Call is a requirement for this position including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Performs and/or assists with direct patient care; performs sheath removal; performs, records and interprets hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiograhic tracings. The position is responsible for monitoring and stocking inventory and assisting with patient transfer. The Technologist prepares, maintains and operates sophisticated radiologic equipment including cineangiographic, fluorographic, digital image recording, laser and electrophysiology equipment. in a safe and responsible manner. Assists physician in performing diagnostic and interventional, cardiac and peripheral catheterizations. Assists in the monitoring of quality control program. The shift is 7a-530pm (4 10 hour shifts weekly) Call is a requirement for this position including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Education Associate's Degree in Radiologic Studies Required Non Degree Program Approved Cardiovascular Technology Program Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 1 year experience as a cardiac cath or interventional radiology technologist Preferred Licenses Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required Basic Life Support Required Intervent Cardiovasc Techgst Required or Reg Cardio Invasive Specialist Required or Reg Technologist (R) Required
