We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists and advanced practice providers while providing high-quality cardiovascular diagnostic services across multiple office locations.
Position SummaryThe Cardiac Sonographer performs comprehensive adult echocardiographic studies and assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable traveling between practice locations as needed. Schedule Options Full-Time Part-Time Per Diem Travel between our Rhode Island office locations is required.
Essential Responsibilities Perform complete adult transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with ASE and IAC guidelines. Obtain high-quality diagnostic images using M-mode, 2D, Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, Contrast, and Stress Echocardiography techniques. Accurately document findings and generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout all examinations. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system. Perform equipment quality control and ensure proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and administrative staff. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Participate in accreditation and quality improvement initiatives as needed. QualificationsRequired Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program. Eligible to sit for or currently hold certification through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS). Current BLS certification. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations. Preferred RDCS or RCS credential. Experience performing stress echocardiography and contrast studies. Prior experience in a cardiology practice or outpatient cardiovascular setting. Vascular ultrasound experience a plus.

Compensation & BenefitsCompensation:
