1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Neuro IR Technologist with at least 2 years of Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital. Details Interventional Radiology unit within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds Neuro IR specialty with a daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week; candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call periods No floating to other units or sister facilities Charting via Epic Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR experience required Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) certification required SSN and Driver's License required for consideration A radiation dosimetry badge is required and must be supplied prior to start — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers License required if applicable — SC license preferred; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must be fully licensed before reporting to the facility Additional Information First-time travelers are accepted for this position, depending on overall qualifications Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on unit needs Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date Facility provides scrubs Parking is free on day shifts; a one-time $20 fee applies for a parking pass covering nights and weekends This facility is located in a hurricane-prone region; travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June-November), with peak activity in August and September
