Job Description

Description StrideCare is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vascular Scrub Technician to support our growing network of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and office-based labs (OBLs) throughout North Texas. This role is responsible for procedural scrub support in minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique, assisting physicians, and ensuring efficient procedural workflow. This position works closely with physicians, RNs, radiologic technologists, anesthesia providers, and operational leadership in a fast-paced procedural environment focused on patient safety, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, instruments, supplies, and specialty equipment for vascular and interventional procedures Scrub and assist physicians during vascular procedures Anticipate physician needs during procedures and maintain procedural efficiency Handle and prepare wires, catheters, balloons, stents, closure devices, embolization materials, and specialty procedural supplies Assist with room turnover and ensure readiness for subsequent cases Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards at all times Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and specialty procedural equipment Support compliance with AAAHC, OSHA, HIPAA, radiation safety, and facility policies Participate in emergency response situations and procedural patient safety initiatives Requirements Surgical Technologist certification Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of procedural scrub experience in vascular, cath lab, interventional radiology , or surgery center setting Strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural workflow Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume procedural environment Preferred Vascular, IR, or cath lab experience strongly preferred Experience in ASC and/or OBL settings Familiarity with fluoroscopy-guided procedures Experience with vascular intervention supplies and devices ACLS certification preferred
