  • $47/hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Echocardiograph Technician to provide high-quality cardiac and vascular imaging services in a busy outpatient cardiology setting.
The ideal candidate will perform echocardiograms, assist with diagnostic cardiovascular testing, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform transthoracic echocardiograms according to established protocols and physician orders. Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for interpretation by cardiologists. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the examination process and ensuring patient comfort. Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and report significant findings appropriately. Assist with stress echocardiography procedures when required. Perform vascular ultrasound studies as needed, including carotid, arterial, venous, ABI, and abdominal aorta examinations. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality control of ultrasound equipment. Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental quality standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes. Provide occasional coverage at additional clinic locations as needed. Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program required. Licensure & Certifications Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required. Experience Minimum one (1) year of recent clinic-based echocardiography experience within the last three (3) years required. Experience performing diagnostic echocardiograms required. Stress echocardiography experience preferred. Vascular ultrasound experience preferred, including: Carotid studies Lower extremity arterial studies Lower extremity venous studies Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing Abdominal aorta examinations For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
