Description:
Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Technologist) Join a High-Performing Cardiovascular Team We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience in angiography, cardiovascular procedures, and carotid artery stenting while demonstrating strong technical expertise and a patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team in the delivery of patient care throughout all phases of cardiovascular procedures. Assist in the assessment, preparation, monitoring, and care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Support the healthcare team in implementing patient care plans and maintaining continuity of care. Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms for cardiovascular and vascular interventions. Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral vascular procedures, and carotid artery stenting . Prepare, maintain, and exchange angiography catheters and related procedural equipment. Monitor patient condition during procedures and promptly communicate changes to the physician and care team. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention and radiation safety standards. Accurately document procedural information and patient data. Participate in emergency response situations and provide procedural support as needed. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program. Current RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent certification preferred. Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular Operating Room experience preferred.
Strong experience with:
Angiography Angiography Catheters Cardiovascular Operating Room Procedures Carotid Artery Stenting Hemodynamic Monitoring Sterile Technique Preferred Qualifications Experience with peripheral vascular interventions and structural heart procedures. Experience in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Familiarity with EPIC or other electronic medical record systems. What We're Looking For Strong clinical and technical skills.
