Cardiovascular Stress Nurse/Technician

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiovascular Stress Nurse/Technician, where you will play a vital role in assessing and monitoring patients undergoing cardiovascular stress testing. Duties Prepare patients for cardiovascular stress testing procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Monitor vital signs continuously during stress tests, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and electrocardiogram (ECG) readings. Operate specialized equipment such as treadmill or pharmacologic stress testing machines, nuclear/echocardiography devices, and tools for diagnostic evaluation. Maintain strict aseptic techniques during IV insertion. Record detailed procedural data, physiological responses, and technical observations accurately in patient records. Recognize abnormal findings promptly and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure immediate intervention if necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in related cardiovascular procedures. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems used in cardiovascular assessments. Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately. Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and experience managing acute situations. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about procedures.
