Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity awaits imaging professionals skilled in cardiac catheterization technology. This contract role calls for expertise in Cath Lab procedures, supporting patient care with precise imaging and technical assistance during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff while using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure high-quality results and patient safety.
Qualifications:
Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent Cath Lab Tech credential required ARRT or RCIS certification preferred Experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology environment Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, cardiac imaging, and sterile technique Ability to operate imaging and monitoring equipment accurately Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
BLS/ACLS
certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nursing staff during catheterization procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, and stenting Prepare, maintain, and operate imaging equipment Monitor and record patient vital signs and procedure details Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols Ensure proper documentation in patient records and hospital systems Stock and prepare the Cath Lab for scheduled procedures Provide patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure as delegated Troubleshoot equipment and procedural challenges in real-time Benefits include opportunities to enhance professional skills within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment, as well as exposure to innovative cardiac techniques and technologies.
