1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Lab Technologist with EP lab and EP mapping experience for a 26-week travel contract at an acute care, Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital. Details EP Lab setting within a large academic teaching hospital featuring six state-of-the-art cath labs performing thousands of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures annually Facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and holds American College of Cardiology accreditation for PCI procedures Adjacent cardiac surgery and hybrid ORs supported by a multidisciplinary team 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM•5:30 PM, with rotating late shifts when cases extend into the evening No weekend or on-call requirements EP Lab is closed on facility-recognized holidays Epic EMR — experience required Contract length of up to 26 weeks Requirements Minimum of 1 year of EP Lab experience, including EP mapping ACLS and BLS required ARRT(R) with Virginia state license

certification required — license required if applicable

candidates do not require a state license; ARRT(R) candidates must hold a Virginia state license (active, in-hand, or pending — Virginia grants emergency authorization while permanent licensure is processing) Proficiency with fluoroscopy, Siemens, Ultrasound, Philips, Carto Ensite, and Cardiolab systems Competency in sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation Strong cardiac background with knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management Must reside a minimum of 50 miles from the facility per the address on driver's license to be eligible Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include assisting with and supporting advanced EP diagnostic and interventional procedures, EP mapping, equipment and supply management, and adherence to sterile technique and isolation protocols All staff rotate late-stay coverage when cases extend into the evening Must be available to cover one holiday per 13-week contract period, in rotation with permanent staff Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are not accepted — applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
