The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform various complex, diagnostic non-invasive cardiac studies to evaluate the condition of the heart and related structures. The sonographer should have a thorough understanding of all aspects of cardiac disease; knowledge and experience in ultrasound imaging, Doppler and Color flow techniques; must have the ability to communicate findings to the physician reader for interpretation; as well as ability to properly operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
Qualifications:
Registered or registry eligible RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI; current BLS certification required. Current with all continuing education requirements related to licenses. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and team attitude. Preferred at least two years of experience in Cardiac Sonography. Credentialed for Echovascular Ability to make a great first impression and sustain it; contribute to our teamwork attitude; employ tact, diplomacy and compassion with all types of people; maintain cooperative relationships with staff members, patients and physicians; prioritize duties appropriately, maintain privacy with information according to HIPAA guidelines; perform functions with accuracy and integrity.Location:
Clinic Based, some travel to other clinics may be required to cover for company needs. This would be on a coordinated travel schedule.Schedule:
