In this role, you'll be instrumental in assisting clinicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, helping deliver excellent outcomes and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, explanations, and monitoring vital signs under supervision. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination during cases. Maintain and document accurate patient records, procedural details, and inventory levels. Adhere strictly to safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols within the Cath Lab environment. Respond efficiently to emergencies and maintain composure in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specifics regarding shift scheduling to be discussed during interview.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology. Current ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification required. BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred. Previous Cath Lab or relevant imaging experience strongly desired. Excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
