Job Description

Reception Specialist, OPA Wasilla, Full-time Orthopedic Physicians Alaska Salary Range:
$17.50-$27.00 hourly
Full-time Benefits:

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm Your Role at
OPA:
As a Reception Specialist at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient needs are being met by providing outstanding customer service. As part of this role you will answer patient calls, schedule patient appointments, and complete some precertification and verification tasks.
What You'll Do:
Provide outstanding customer service to all patients Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations Educate patients on insurance coverage limits and options Work closely with the billing and other departments providing services Schedule appointments, answer phones, data entry Collect deposits and co-pays Other duties as assigned by supervisor Why You'll Excel in
This Role:
You have knowledge of primary and secondary coordination of benefits You are familiar with CPT and ICD-10 You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment You have keen organization skills You consider compassionate, skillful, patient care a top priority You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and an investigative nature You are a reliable self-starter who embraces professionalism and learning You are efficient, accurate and detail oriented
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Six months of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
