Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Administrative Team Member to join our practice. This role is responsible for supporting daily front office operations, assisting patients with scheduling and financial matters, and ensuring accurate insurance processing and claims management. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility for patients Prepare, submit, and follow up on dental insurance claims Resolve insurance claim issues, denials, and outstanding balances Collect patient payments and manage outstanding account balances Process daily payments, receipts, and financial transactions accurately Communicate treatment costs, payment options, and financing information to patients Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and concerns Schedule and confirm patient appointments Maintain accurate patient records and update account information Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience Qualifications Previous dental office experience required Knowledge of dental insurance plans, claim submission, and billing procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Experience with dental practice management software preferred Basic accounting and payment processing experience Professional appearance and positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent required Work Environment We use Open Dental, some experience would beneficial Frequent interaction with patients in person and over the phone Team-oriented atmosphere focused on quality patient care We are a new dental office that is growing, we have a small team and are privately owned
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
