Duties This job will involve a variety of tasks; from rooming patients, taking medical histories, answering phones and scheduling appointments to handling the prior authorizations and precerts for surgeries and procedures. Must be able to multitask as this is a fast paced job. Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical terminology and ICD coding standards Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care instructions Proven experience as a Medical Assistant and/or Care Coordinator in outpatient clinical settings. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings Strong communication skills to provide excellent patient service and collaborate effectively with healthcare team Experience with scribing would be a plus This role is ideal for motivated healthcare professionals eager to make a difference in diverse clinical environments.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
