This vital role ensures that residents receive personalized, high-quality care while fostering a warm, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for elder care, and experience in managing care plans and supervising staff. As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing residents' quality of life through attentive care, effective management, and compassionate oversight. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including those with dementia or memory care requirements. Supervise and mentor caregiving staff to ensure adherence to care standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with nursing staff to oversee medication administration and monitor residents' health status. Foster positive relationships with residents and their families by providing clear communication and support regarding care services. Manage daily operations related to resident well-being, including overseeing activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring a safe environment. Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care facilities. Lead efforts in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and professional team. Qualifications Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes with a focus on senior or long-term care. Strong background working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs. Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and health monitoring protocols. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in healthcare or community care environments. Familiarity with operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen related to long-term care facilities. Excellent communication skills for engaging residents' families, team members, and healthcare providers effectively. Valid licensure or certification as required by state law for nursing or caregiving roles is preferred but not mandatory.
