  • $25 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Continuing education credits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications Medical documentation Medical scheduling Case management Front desk Dental office experience Office experience Full Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented Treatment Coordinator (TC) with background in financial billing and front office.
TC is responsible for influential communication and a smooth transition of new patients into the practice and to present treatment with the orthodontist(s). The TC is the point man for ongoing communication with patients and parents during and after treatment. The Treatment Coordinator also monitors the pre-treatment recall system and communicates with referring offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking treatment
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
  • Provide information and education to patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and costs
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
  • Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
  • Handle financial transactions, including billing and payment collection. Follow up on delinquencies.
  • Help with Marketing and practice promotion
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in orthodontics and/or dentistry. Other fields of sales can be helpful, as well.
Any additional requirements:
Front office experience Communication Skills Case Management and setting up financial arrangements Dental Knowledge
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Good interpersonal skills to develop an effective relationship with patients, parents, doctors, staff members and community. Letter composition skills and excellent grammar skills. Gentle persuasion skills to guide patients and parents and to instill confidence with regards to the orthodontist(s) abilities and results of treatment. Other (please specify) Diagnostic skills to help go over case study with the Orthodontist.
